I know it is still a tough subject, but as many of you have read the series I posted about animal abuse over the last few week, I thought this video might help to bring the exact nature home to people.
Until such time as animal abuse is stopped entirely, I think we will continue to post topics, articles and videos to showcase, the ugly truth about animal abuse.
There is also a good side. Many people do not abuse animals and many more people are willing to take in and help or shelter those animals that are. So do not forget our furry friends during our own times of duress. Never take out your anger on your pets.
Fair warning, this video may invoke outrage, disgust, and tears. Please do your part to help fight animal cruelty.
Many people want to have happy, healthy pets. We know that when our pets are happy and healthy that they will provide us with a lifetime of pleasurable memories and joy.
So why not share that with someone else. Why not share your pet and a little bit of the unconditional love they provide with other people who are in need of having some of that love.
Watch the video, and consider volunteering your pets to helping others. It can be a wonderful experience for you both.
Now that spring is coming, many pet owners will also be outside gardening. The ASPCA has listed a number of plants that can be very harmful to your pets. If you let your pet roam outside while your in the garden, then check to see if you have any of these plants around your house. Try to avoid letting your pet dig them up and chew on them. This video gives the common name of the plant, the scientific name, as well as common symptoms and potential dangers.
